Old Cosmetics

Thanks for this. I have a 3 year old Clinique eye shadow set in my drawer. I hadn't used all of the shades in my pallet but I know I have to let it go. Oh boy!

You could just scratch or scrape off the top layer of the Clinique eye shadow and that would be enough to get rid of
the bacteria. I had about $300 worth of Clinique and Estee Lauder cosmetics given to me sometime back and wasn't able to use it before the 'expiration date' and that's the only thing that saved all the expensive make up from going in the trash. Though really, you can't do that with liquid make up. And, if your skin is super sensitive and prone to acne, you shouldn't keep the powder after a year or so either. Hope that tip helps you out with your Clinique eye shadow. I know how painful it is to lose something so expensive.

The best way to do with old cosmetics is to throw them away.
Save your skin from problems and don't use them anymore.
