X Factor judges Sharon Osbourne and Dannii Minogue are locked in a bitter behind-the-scenes war.
The pair are barely on speaking terms after a dramatic row during one audition session in Manchester.
Now producers are expecting more fireworks when the fourth series of the ITV1 show goes live.
Sharon, 56, is reported to have told crew members that Dannii wants her job.
A pal explained: "As far as Sharon is concerned Dannii is just a D-lister who doesn't deserve to be on the show. Sharon does not think Dannii is qualified to judge people's talent when she has so little of it herself.
