How to take care of your jewelry?

My friends and I wears jewelry regularly and keeping it clean and looking good requires regular effort. We usually just follow general guidelines like using jewelry polishing clothes and using warm water. We found this machine that says it can clean jewelry and eyeglasses but are not sure if this is good.


Do you have your own ways on how you take care of your jewelry? Please share.

Try not to wear perfume. And some gemstones like jade need to be put into water for a couple hours from time to time.
