Hello to all! I am Laura, I'm 24 (definitely female 
) and I'm glad to be here!
I have a 7 year old daughter, and in the past few years especially I have become significantly more aware of the pressure on her to become a dainty princess no matter what she wants. I fight this, give her options, and am teaching her true girl power every day!
I also am happy to say that I believe in girl power, beyond just teaching my daughter that, because I am a woman and I deserve equality. I'll step off my soap box now, and thank you for the warm and welcoming forum.
