So there's my bf and we are going to the movies tomorrow and my parents said they "had" to go to the same movie to make sure nothing happened. They rarely give me any liberty and I hate it. My friends are going with their dates as well and they are the same age as me and yet, their parents don't go with them. My parents are so overprotective, how can you tell them to back off without getting mad at them? I just don't know what to anymore, I'm fed up of being treated like a kid again. Help

Maybe you should takem your date to meet your parents? If they get to know him, I am sure they willcome to realise that he is probably agood egg, and that with friends also going, nothing is going to happen.

Yeah, the plans totally changed, ended up my parents just left

! It went amazing and my friend and her boyfriend were with us as well. It was an awesome day, aside the fact we went home in freezing rain!
