A thread for silly minor tips you have that you think mught come in useful for others.
My first tip is for roast dinners ...
Cut 2 inions in half and use them as "legs" in the roasting tin......... place the meat on top of the onion "legs" and it not only keeps the meat out of the yukky oily sludge on the bottom of the roasting tin but the fat from the meat will caremelise the onions and make them super tasty when you add them to your gravy
