Pumpkin cake! I have to try that sometime! That is an AMAZING pumpkin snowy! We were going to do a carving but we forgot to stop at the supermarket :(

I'm not sure what the cake is like, it's for taking to work today so I'll find out soon enough! I've never eaten pumpkin before. Actually when I think about it, what an amount of pumpkin flesh must get wasted by our country at this time of year. It's not really a food eaten here.

can't say I've ever eaten it .... in fact come to think of it.......I've not really even seen them for sale here !

Well done tho Fi, it looks fab ! wish I had your patience :D

Mostly they are sold in the supermarkets. I learnt my lesson from last year though... if carving... buy a baby sized pumperkin!! THey don't actually take much carving. Inside is mostly hollow once you remove the stringy parts.

I'm not keen on the smell of pumpkin flesh though.Probably took me about 15-20 minutes to cut out the design on the front. I'm such a kid. But this one is to take to work today - of course it will come home again and have a candle inside tonight :tiddlyjen:

*gig*

I have no pumpkin. I'd be the only one who really saw it anyway, and it's not worth the mess.

That's a pretty fantastic pumpkin though, Snowy! When I did make a jack-o-lantern, it was really just a standard one. Yours turned out great!
