If you don't know what an autist is, here's a general definition you can use: an autist is someone with a brain defect that makes it very hard to completely impossible to interact normally with other people.

We (yes, I'm an autist) simply don't *get* all your silly unwritten rules of communication.

So, here's some first contact tips:

Enter a conversation casually
The trick is to enter the conversation with a bit of information about a subject you know a lot about, but not scarily too much.
This is very hard to get right.

SITUATION: you're on a computer in your school's library with two girls sitting next to you complaining about said computers
RIGHT: Girl: "Man I just don't GET these computers! How do you SAVE with these?!!"
You: "Well if you press that button right there, you can select the location you want to save to there"
Girl: "Oh thank you!"
+5 relationship points!
Relationship upgraded from Total Stranger to Relative Stranger!

I don't know what a WRONG looks like, but imagine it's really ugly.
It ofcourse helps if you look kinda okay/attractive.

That's all for now really, I haven't actually gotten further.

Hate to break it to you...Not knowing how to communicate is something most people deal with, so if we are going to go with that defination.... most people are autists.

I imagine a wrong as going to a forum just to prank it, how can you form friendships/relationships in life if you annoy others.....

I would think being nice and helpful if you can be is what you SHOULD do in the first place, rather then a special dating tip...

Well I think it's a good tip.

Autism is classified by the World Health Organization (WHO) and American Psychological Association as a developmental disability that results from a disorder of the human central nervous system[citation needed]. It is diagnosed using specific criteria for impairments to social interaction, communication, interests, imagination and activities. The causes, symptoms, etiology, treatment, and other issues are controversial.[/b]
