You know how I said that I loved Genealogy? well it seems that subby is getting interested in tracing his family too ... I was speaking to his mother earlier and she told me the following :

Apparently subby's gt gt gt grandfather was from London and served in the Kings Hussars .... until the day he did "something naughty" with the downstairs housemaid and was banished to Australia !!!!!!! via India.......... where he also did something naughty and fathered a few children !!!!!!!

Does anyone else think that this genetic link may explain a few things?
