So, for the winter, we have decided that I will work the Sunday day shift, and the regular bartender will wait tables that shift. So, I work my usual Thursday day, Friday and Saturday nights, and now come in at 8:30am on Sunday, instead of 4pm.
That is all well and good, we did it last year, and it was fun, and i laugh a lot. At myself...
Because we have Karaoke on Saturday nights, I don't get out of there until 4am sometimes. So there will be some Sundays where I may have only gotten 3 or so hours of sleep.
So, I go through stages. I am happy, then I get a bit sleepy, then I will start grumbling to myself, realize what I am doing, then start cracking up again.
Yesterday was the first one where we worked the new schedule. it's gonna be a fun winter!!!
