How was your Christmas? How is everyone doing?

We were at my parents yesterday, got home today (they live a 3 hr drive from us), so needless to say, tonight I am completely exhausted. I'm really looking forward to my bedtime tonight!!!!

Christmas was good - hubby and I got so spoilt! He gave me a digital radio, and gave baby a book, it contains one activity to do with baby for each week of its life - simple things like teaching baby he/she can move their head side to side, and that they have feet/hands... when baby is older, there crafty activites etc. It's fab!!!

His parents gave us a video camera :faint: my parents gave us a digital photo frame - both said these things will be great with the baby coming. Scope for fantastic memories caught in film!! Amongst the usual perfume, clothes, biscuits, chocs, money and vouchers! We did good this year!!

How about you guys - what did Santa bring you!!

that sounds awesome Snowy!! Are you gonna be one of those parents that basically follows their baby round with a video camera? Hehe! Good family christmas then?

I had a sweet christmas! I was (and am) about half an hour from home right now housesitting so I was up early to drive over for our christmas breakfast (pancakes with this yummy home made berry syrup!) and presents (including our yearly treasure hunt with Dad chasing us round putting the next clue-filled balloon up behind us haha). And then watched Casino Royale on our new projector. My family totally cracks me up. I got my very own digital camera along with the chocolate and socks and that veet stuff.

Hurrah.

I'm not sure Potty! It'll be a novelty for a while with the cam, then we'll probably settle down a bit. Or use it more once baby starts learning new things like smiling, crawling etc! It's exciting to think we will be able to keep these things on video format!

We had a great holiday too!! My daughter and I went up to my Mom and Dad's on Christmas Eve, ate and opened presents, which was fun, then Christmas Day it was just my daughter and myself, and we opened up what Santa brought us, and I cooked while she ran around the neighborhood between our house and her bestie's house (which also just happens to be MY bestie's house) and it was a really great day! We got a Wii zapper, and this hilarious game where you shoot chickens and stuff!!!
