Hi snowy dear! doing good over here in the desert, thinking about sneaking off back to bed for an extra hour

<

I am doing fine, although I, too, am a day late...LOL!!

I survived yesterday, the waitress didn't show up, so I got to wait on tables AND tend bar. I am a terrible waitress anyway, but having to do EVERYTHING was a little scary for a while!!

But, when I counted my money after the shift, I was all better, LOL!!

Tonight will be fun too, because I INSIST, and Karaoke is tomorrow night, which is always good for a chuckle or two...

Good for you - I don't think I'll have any fun tonight

I have to stay at home and study all night, cause I have this job testing, and I have to learn some laws..plus, I applied for another job - a part-time journalist. I passed the first round, now it's training time, which is a second round of testing actually, our tutor will eliminate us if he finds us incapable..with a lot of other tests..anyway, I'm busy, after a long, long time..hope I'll be employed soon

That's great, Mary! Although I understand the tiredness and stress you must be feeling!!

I just had a great chat with the neighbor guy...he just made it a year in his sobriety, and had tried to quit smoking cigarettes on the anniversary, but couldn't do it right now...I told him that when he tries again, if he has a difficult time, to come over and we'll go for a walk or something. I quit 2 weeks ago and I hate it still, so I understand...

We also talked a little about his ex-girlfriend, who has his baby. She's nuts, and she also used to date my current sweetie. It was good to talk about that chick...to get some stuff out, because she was geebing at me one day, so I kept working in my yard so she could get a closer look!!!

You're very nice with your neighbour

But it's really strange, that solidarity between smokers! I mean, I know a lot of smokers who feel instantly connected with each other; if one of them doesn't have a cigarette or something, they borrow it without questions asked, 'cause they "have to help their colleague in need"...

Who cares about the ex chick? She's ex

She's crazy, that's all...

And yeah, that smoker's club...not a good thing to be a part of, but it's nice to have a support system...stupid thing to start, difficult thing to quit...

I had the greatest night last night, one of my best friends came into my bar and we hung out, and she came to my house after and it was just a really good time! I have a tad bit of a hangover, but it was totally worth it!

It's gonna be another great day, I hope everyone is having one too...
