Creepy Neighbours

As I was putting my bins out, the people across the road came out and watched me (again). They do it everytime my boyfriend and/or I leave the house.

So anyway, I thought I'd ask everyone else: Have you ever had some really creepy people living on your street?

I had a landlord that was really creepy. And he lived on the property too, maybe 75 yards from my house, and he would have to walk along the side of my house to get to the laundry room, and he was just...creepy and weird. He actually got upset with me because I started locking my front door when I was home!! Now how would he know that if he didn't try to open it!!!
 
That's odd. I had a creepy neighbour experience when I lived at my first apartment. We had balconies but these were open - so basically you could see anyone else who was on their balcony too. One guy 2 apartments down from me seemed to listen for me to open my door and he could come out too and just *watch* me. I mean, sometimes he'd try to pretend he was doing something else, but when I'd continuously go to my balcony to have a cigarette, and he would come out not 5 seconds after I did, it got to be rather creepy.

Even if I wasn't on my balcony he'd still watch me. Once I was leaving the building and saw him coming from the parking garage. I started walking faster, I was maybe 40 feet from the building when I hear keys jingling LOUDLY and when I turn around he's standing by the building, jingling keys and looking at me. WTF.

There were a couple of other incidents but after that one I told the landlord (I wasn't sure what else to do), and she talked to him and he didn't do it again after that. He was an older man, maybe in his 50's and I was 19 and lived alone - so yeah, I was kind of freaked out.
 
I can't say I know any of my neighbours ver the last 15 years or so..... Though if I did know them, Im sure I'd be the one classed as the creep lol
 
I just rmembered something my sister told me about the guy who use to live in the apartment under theirs. The front door of his apartment was on the main walkway into the building and he would stand right up against the screen door and watch everyone walk past... Completely starkers :crazy2:

I haven't had really creepy neighbours but last year we had some mean ones who found a lost lamb while out on the peninsula (that's the nice bit) and then were adamant that they were gonna kill it and eat it. Right outside my window. I heard them sharpening a knife....but that night one of their girl flatmates called up SPCA who came and got it *phew*. She's swore to us that he was just trying to be all manly and he really didn't have it in him...I hope that was the case... they were all Southern farm boys who went fishing and paua collecting all the time.
