When Did You Start Baby On Solids?

Alex is 3 months old today so I am beginning to question when is the best time to start him on solids? I thought it was at 4 months but my health visitor has told me its now 6 months.

When did you start your babies on solids?

I didn't start mine on solids until 6 months, and then it was only cereal.

6 months is what the say, but you start when your baby is ready. Ben and Eden were both about 4 months, Joel was 6 months, but that was due to preemie problems
