DETECTIVES investigating the death of a baby boy found inside a bag in a duck pond in Glasgow urged the public yesterday to send them a text if they have information.
The remains of the infant, who was five to seven days old, were found by three 11-year-old girls on Sunday night in a park in the Dennistoun area.
Strathclyde Police closed Alexandra Park and officers carried out forensic tests and searches on Monday.
Yesterday morning, investigations, including door-to-door inquiries and the studying of CCTV footage, were continuing to discover what happened to the infant.
Strathclyde Police issued a number where members of the public can text information via mobile phone. The number is 07800 002 235.
A spokesman said: "This is the first time we have done this and we hope someone who knows something will send us a text."
