I can't believe its been a full year
That you have been making me fetch your beer
At least with a car now, I will not fear
Dragging it home from the market, now that you can steer

It's been a year since our lips first met
So soft your kiss, so warm and wet
And if you had your time again I'd bet
Your friend who knocked, inside you'd not let

I showed you that i can cook
When I first did, I got an impressed look
But I must say, the point I mistook
5 meals a week from me you booked

But lots of hugs and kisses have passed
Every one, I hoped would ever last
And if by this poem you become aghast
You wanted more romance? Sorry... can't be 'assed'
