Instead of pain meds or anti-inflammatory drugs, you might try using ice packs for certain aches and pains.
I recently purchased re-usable ice packs, and I've been using them a lot. They are helping ease my pain.
They are handy, affordable, and they don't have all those icky side effects. What's not to like?
