How often do you file and reshape your nails?

Sometimes, it feels like I'm grabbing for a file every couple days as one nail tears or chips or grows long enough to need the corners rounded out. Other times, it doesn't feel like I do it very often at all.

It depends for me as well. Sometimes I can do it every 2 days or so and other times I can go a week and a half. I think it really depends on what type of nail polish I am wearing because it seems as though the cheap polish chips my nails easy.

My nails are in pretty good shape. I really don't have to file them very often. Maybe twice a month if I don't happen to break a nail. I usually wear clear polish on my finger tips so it keeps maintenance very low. I have to deal with my toenails more than my fingernails.

My nails are healthy and grow fast so I have to file them quite often. Usually, I do this before I paint them - once or twice a week. I like when they're almond-shaped.

I've never filed my nails. I clip them with nail clippers when they get really long. That's it!
