Contacts or Glasses?

I'm nearsighted so I only need glasses for distance. If my eyes do go completely bad, I would wear glasses. The idea of putting something in my eye freaks me out.

I'm nearsighted too but I don't wear neither glasses nor contacts. I don't like wearing glasses because they're inconvenient and, to be honest, I look awful in them. I'd like to wear contacts, but I'm scared. I can't imagine putting something into my eyes. I know it's not painful, but I still don't have enough courage.
