So did anybody get the chance to watch the Academy Awards this year? Any winners that you strongly agree or disagree with?
I can't believe that Crash won Best Picture. Brokeback Mountain was much more deserving of that honour. I thought that was an extremely disappointing win.
And Joaquin Phoenix should have won over Hoffman for Best Actor. Though I liked Capote, I just think that Phoenix put much more into his role, Cash is not an easy man to portray. Though on that note, Reese Witherspoon I thought definitely earned her Best Actress award.
Any other thoughts?
